Stream Reasoning Workshop 2025

After the successful Stream Reasoning workshops in Vienna, Berlin, Zürich, Linköping, Milan, Amsterdam, Lyon and Kortrijk in previous years, the next edition of the workshop will be held in Université Gustave Eiffel, Marne la Vallée, France, on November 17-18 2025.

The workshop is invitation-only and free-of-charge and focuses on strengthening our growing community by sharing different perspectives, challenges, and experiences obtained by working with expressive yet efficient decision-making over rapidly changing data.

For Stream Reasoning to grow as a research area, it is very valuable to bring together these different views and goals to exchange ideas in a relaxed and collaborative atmosphere.

By Plane

  • To reach Paris from Charles de Gaulle airport, take RER B (follow the sign Paris par le train). If you want to go directly to the conference venue, you need to buy a ticket to Noisy-Champs. Use same RER B, stop at Chatelet les Halles and take RER A to Noisy-champs (just on the opposite side of the platform). Mind the board information to make sure the train stops at Noisy-Champs. Board at the head of the train to exit the RER station close to the workshop venue. The ticket costs €13.
  • To reach Paris from Orly airport, take Orlyval to the RER station Antony and take RER B (direction AĂ©roport Charles de Gaulle/Mitry-Claye). If you want to go directly to the conference venue, you need to buy a ticket to Noisy-Champs. Use same RER B, stop at Chatelet les Halles and take RER A to Noisy-champs (direction Boissy-St-LĂ©ger/Marne-la-VallĂ©e you need to change platform). Mind the board information to make sure the train stops at Noisy-Champs. Board at the head of the train to exit the RER station close to the workshop venue. The ticket costs around €13.

By Train (RER)

  • To reach the workshop venue from Paris, you need to take RER line A direction Marne-la-VallĂ©e to the station Noisy-Champs. Mind the board information to make sure the train stops at Noisy-Champs, the final destination of the train has to be either Marne-la-vallĂ©e or Torcy. You need a specific ticket to travel from Paris (including connections) to Noisy-Champs. Board at the head of the train to exit the RER station close to the workshop venue. One ticket costs €2.50. The train trip lasts 23 minutes from Chatelet les Halles, 20 minutes from Gare de Lyon.

  • To reach the workshop venue from Disneyland Paris (Marne-la-vallĂ©e - Chessy station), you need to take RER line A direction Paris to the station Noisy-Champs. Mind the board information to make sure the train stops at Noisy-Champs. You need a specific ticket to travel from Marne-la-vallĂ©e - Chessy to Noisy-Champs. Board at the tail of the train to exit the RER station close to the workshop venue. One ticket costs €2.50. The train trip lasts around 17 minutes.

Accomodation

There are three choices for the accomodation: stay in Champs-sur-Marne close to the conference venue, stay inside Paris or stay at Disneyland Paris. If you want to have some choice where to eat in the evening, we advise you to stay in Paris.

In Paris

  • Commuting between Paris and Noisy-Champs is fast and easy using line A of RER. The train takes between 20 and 25min from the RER station Nation, Gare de Lyon or Chatelet-les-Halles.
